Do you see what I'm sayin'?

Remix

When forty winters shall beseige thy brow,
And dig deep trenches in thy beauty's field,
Thy youth's proud livery, so gazed on now,
Will be a tatter'd weed, of small worth held:
Then being ask'd where all thy beauty lies,
Where all the treasure of thy lusty days,
To say, within thine own deep-sunken eyes,
Were an all-eating shame and thriftless praise.
How much more praise deserved thy beauty's use,
If thou couldst answer 'This fair child of mine
Shall sum my count and make my old excuse,'
Proving his beauty by succession thine!
This were to be new made when thou art old,
And see thy blood warm when thou feel'st it cold

Remix: What happened to over the years. Your skin resembles a burlap sack, that lack color and luster; and, your eyes are sunken in and lifeless. As you age darling, your beauty begins to decrease.

More Shakespeare FUN!

Reflection on draft #1 for project #2:

WTF! why is it moving?

Why does Meddy suggest this is relevant? What is one rhetorical strategy that is used by the video's creators?

        - Meddy suggests that the video above is relevant to our class because we spents many weeks talking about and analyzing  the effect on media on our generation's mind; and, this is relevant to our generation because this adorable baby girl is a visual representation of generation X's mind. We expect the immediacy of an Ipad in every aspect of our lives, especially when it comes to reading and long written passages. The video creaters appeals to the emotions of viewers by using an adorabe infant instead of an emo teenager.

Dear Death,

Leonardo repudiates Hero:
           - After Claduio publicily humilated Hero by openly broadcasting her supposed "never say no" ways, which was consolidated and confirmed by the respectable Don Pedro and co., Leonardo decides to repudiate ( refusal to accept and/or be associated with) Hero. As a punlic figure, Leonardo also feels entremly humilated because as the "first family" of Messina people expect them to be socially perfect. Thus, Hero's social suicide leaves Leonard in a position of public scrutiny and  possible impeachment. Therefore, the only way to regain respect, grace under devistating times, and stren parenting skills,  Leonardo publicly ostracize her; which isn't uncommon at that particular period in time.

Into the Mystic

Why dowa Claudio fall in love with Hero? How do you know?
          - Claudio falls in love with Hero because shes a sweet, rich, good, modest young lady. She's also a beautiful and virtouous woman who plays and understands her role as a 15th century woman. This can be seen in her reserveness and failure to express her opinion around men.
